What President Trump Failed to Mention in His SOTU Address

In a recent article written in CNBC covering the President’s first State of the Union Address, Trump praised 401(k) performance. He pointed out the strong performance of the stock market, but failed to address a major concern for many working Americans: They don’t have a 401(k)!

It’s great to rally behind a booming economy and to see the growth occurring in the stock market, but if you’re not participating, the opportunity is moot and not “through the roof” as Trump exclaimed.

According to the report from CNBC, “only about one-third of workers participate in a 401(k) plan,” and that number gets worse when we account that “just 14 percent of all employers have a 401(k) or other defined contribution plan for their workers.”

Saveday is on a mission to eradicate this issue, giving every eligible small- and mid-sized business a 401(k) plan that is simple, easy-to-use, and allows investments to grow freely. Click here to get your company 401(k) started.
